You make some points, you say somethings have been hidden in the narrative of Israel's re-creation, but most Israelis and Jews are aware of these- even if the "Zionist evangelicals" might not be.

You do a massive disservice to the Jews who suffered in Palestine prior to Israel, prior to Zionism- who faced pogroms there (like what happened to my family) and were treated as second class citizens. You might want to look up the history of Hebron, Safed and Tiberious.

I don't hold malice towards you or feel you are coming from a place of malice. Empathy is a wonderful trait that is a part of Judaism. From be kind to the strangers in the land, cities of refuge, jubilee year, Hillel's words and so on. But there are also limits to it and warnings about showing mercy to the cruel etc. Purim is an example of how we even aim to forget the name of an enemy, that that enemy does not even earn the respect to be talked about.

You are on your journey, and your family and others are on theirs. Good luck to you.

I would say, though, regardless of your views and whether I agree with them or not- it would have been better to have this broken up into 3-5 articles and then we could discuss and critique each point. There was so much I agreed with and so much I disagreed with in that long article- it is hard to have a real conversation about it. The Talmud writers would have been jealous of your length!
