Yes, of course, but I am quite the russophile and lived 7 years in Russia and speak the language. When there, I was not treated in anyway as a foreigner but one of them and said to have a “Russian soul.” So I would have thought this would give me some allowance to have an opinion-even one they would agree with-but still I instantly transformed into a foreigner if I shared my thoughts with some.
