Whole point of the article is Israel doing its standard response and expecting a different result is the definition of idiocy. And since HAMAS did far more than what they usually do, Israel will respond in kind with an exceptional response. Not about justification, just about predicting what will happen. And the world has shown that there are no real consequences if they take the gloves off. And gloves off or not Israel will be hated much the same anyway.

My article isn't about morals or justice. Just what Israel can do, can be expected to do and the limited consequences of doing it, during a brief window of time.
