There is nothing worse than people projecting words into MLK or Mandela's mouths. Mandela had a nuanced line he walked supporting Palestinian aspirations but also the right for Jews to self determination in their homeland of Israel. He visited Israel and said as much. MLK had even stronger words in support of Israel. Now, he might not have those same words if alive today, who knows? But we should take their ACTUAL words into account far more, than pretend they would support causes the way others do.
