There is just so much. Like the death of the first president of Georgia because Russia backed forces against him, Russia stirred up trouble in Samachablo( Ossetia) and Abhazia and armed rebels then told Georgia if it joined the Commonwealth of independent States (CIS) Russia would help with that problem. Georgia was blackmailed into joining and having Russian bases on its territory and Russian continued to arm the rebels which resulted in 250k Georgians fleeing and being expelled from Abhazia often through snow covered mountains and becoming internally displaced. At every election Russia interfered and tried to divide the population. So Georgia would remain poor and reliant on Russia. That is one country.
Almost the same scenario played out in the Baltics, Moldova, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Uzbeksitan. It's not a bug it's a feature.
