The vast majority of Jews worldwide, more than 80% are Zionist. This does not mean we agree with every decision of the Israeli government or support Netanyahu. Of the 20% who are not Zionist, most of them are ultra orthodox Haredi who believe we have a right to live there, but await a Messiah to come to create a theorcracy where Jews will absolutely rule there. The whole principle of Judaism and the stories of the Torah, are to go to the Promised Land and rule it. Hannukah is the celebration of kicking out others trying to rule us there and ruling it ourselves.

If you have a problem with that, then you have a problem with Judaism. Which is fine, we aren't trying to convert you.
