The Arab armies that attacked Israel were fully equipped by the Soviets in far greater number than anything Israel had. Palestinians under pan-arabism and onky embracinf a separate identify in the late 60s were part of that. Jews had some arms from the Soviets at independence, then the French in the 50s and finally the Americans but for the last 40 years Jordan and Egypt between them get a similar amount of military aid from America as Israel does on its own.

The fact people want to throw rockets or kidnap 3 year olds instead of accepting the half a dozen two state solutions that have been offered and have peace- reflects on the Palestinian leadership or taking the opportunity to miss every opportunity when it comes to improving the lives of Palestinians.
