That’s some nice whataboutsim. Russia signed treaties guaranteeing Ukraine’s borders and sovereignty in the 90s when Ukraine gave up its nuclear arsenal. And if you are going to play the whataboutism game, why can’t Ukraine deal with separatists like Russia did with Chechnya? The Minsk agreement was an agreement with a gun to the head of Ukraine, much like the agreements Georgia had to sign in the 90s and were actively worked against by Russia in both instances, instantly. The Russian controlled separatists, staffed by GRU and Russian soldiers “on holiday” never stopped fighting, bringing a Ukraine response.
