I have spent a quarter of my life in those regions. Thank you for dismissing my experience just because you, as a Non Jew, have another. I have wonderful and dear friends, one is the Grandson of the Turkish Foreign Minister who saved thousands of Jews in France in World War 2. Muslims and Jews have a lot in common, but that doesn't take away from the fact we have been second class citizens in Muslim lands for most of the last 1400 years. And faced pogroms.
