Oh that was a fun read.

Accusing me of manipulation when I say internal plumbing for toilets and you say no centralized sewage....what do you think that all means? You think a babushka living in a village in the middle of nowhere has a sophisticated septic system which could cost more than her dacha? Hardly.

As for alcohol, some beautiful manipulation on your part there. Russia is 5th in the world in pure alcohol consumption. It is because other countries drink 4-5% alcohol beer in larger quantities and Russians can drink that vodka of 37-40% alcohol or Samogan which is even higher AND beer.

But my two comments about alcohol were about dealing with a Dostoevsky hellscape in many villages or as cannon fodder on the front line. I'm not talking about those in Moscow or the St Pete troll factory (*cough) who live a much more comfortable life.
