October 7 happened because HAMAS didn't believe the IDF would enter Gaza in response. October 7 happened because HAMAS believed that their mighty fighters would trap the Israelis and slaughter them if they tried.

Right now, HAMAS has lost brigades of fighters, truckloads of fighters have surrendered and Northern Gaza is a wasteland. But please go on about how the IDF is afraid and doesn't know how to fight, while HAMAS hides in tunnels and among the civilian population.

Before HAMAS illegally took control of Gaza, throwing Palestinian Authority workers off rooftops, before they launched 10,000 rockets at Israel- there was no siege on Gaza, there was free movement and no Israeli controlling what came in or out. So how has HAMAS benefited Gazans in anyway? And there will never be a 2 state solution with HAMAS- who made it clear after October 7 that they don't support it at all. Continue to mock the IDF, but it is them now who control the majority of the Gaza strip. And it will be they who decide when, if ever, northern Gaza is rebuilt. So keep the hostages, keep HAMAS in power, it will just mean more dead Palestinians. Because if you cared one iota about the lives of Palestinians, HAMAS needs to go.
