Minor correction. They ARE designated pirates. They have been doing this a lot longer than the conflict after October 7. They are also attacking shipping that has nothing to do with Israel. They are not the government of Yemen. The ships are not heading to Yemen, they are in designated shipping lanes where freedom of navigation exists.
