Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it’s Drones buzzing Moscow.
Another whodunnit in the fog of war
Is Russian responsible?
Much like my previous article (here) that discussed the sea drone attack on the Ivan Khurs, much speculation abounds about this latest incident.
Russians awoke to low flying drones and explosions on Tuesday with the drones flying over elite suburbs such as Rublyodka- a place where garish mini-castles with turrets and minarets are commonplace.
The number of drones reported varied from five to thirty. Russian forces state electronic jamming of the drones brought some of them down while others were shot down. Some hit residential buildings causing little damage, whether by design or after being damaged or jammed.
There are a couple of problems when it comes who to blame. Russia is famous for its false flags, no more than the Ryazan incident that brought Putin to power. This was when the FSB were caught red handed planting explosives(they claimed they were planting sugar as part of a training exercise) after a string of bombings that Putin- then leader of the FSB and presidential candidate- blamed on Chechnya. Ultimately, Russia went to war again with Chechen for the second time and Putin used that to secure his presidency.
