I don't think Egypt would be foolish enough to rip up the peace treaty. Fighting in an urban environment with a non uniformed enemy who uses tunnels is a challenge. But an open battlefield tank and aircraft war is where the IDF has excelled. Egypt has lost to Israel 3 times already. If Egypt wants to give up the Sinai and its oil reserves again over this, they can try.
