I do not believe antisemitism has increased as such, I believe the Jew haters feel they have permission to unmask themselves at the current time and get away with it. Far fewer of our friends actually like us. Indeed, I don't want to even go on Facebook-which I took a break from the moment this started- to find out. As bad as Twitter can be, Threads is far, far worse and my time on that site is ending too.

I lived in Southern Russia for 7 years and heard antisemitic jokes, tropes and conspiracy theories every single day. There was no pretence, you knew where you stood. They didn't have the "oh I don't hate Jews just zionists" or anything like that. They were straight with it. Honestly, I think that candour is better than what you face.
