I confess I read your article, so you made a few cents from me even though your argument is nonsense. It is intellectually lazy to be spewing Kremlin talking points when we a wide amount of data and information at our disposal.
You threw in some good ol whataboutism about the US.
Speculated about China- even though China is taking Russia to the cleaners, taking over most of its auto industry, buying oil and gas at steep discounts, refusing to insure or give out cred on commodity transfers and has declared it believes in Ukraine's sovereignty and none of the areas annexed(including Crimea) it sees as Russian. Trade between Russia and China, even now, is tiny compared to China and the US and China and the EU is even bigger. Meanwhile China has never forgotten that a great part of Russia's far eastern territory used to be Chinese and is sitting largely empty and under developed right next to China's population hubs. For the moment, China is happy to buy to own rather than go to war to own.
What exactly is this diplomacy supposed to achieve other than Ukraine forfeiting territory? You don't have any Vichy French heritage do you?
And your history is just way off. Perhaps you forgot the great reset of the Obama administration? The US has waved olive branches at Russia on a regular basis and got rewarded with Geoegia, Crimea, Donbas and where we are today.
Also Crimea was in no danger of being controlled by anyone else, you do not have a US Naval base a few minutes flight time from Russian airspace. That's suicide. The Russian base would have remained. There was no coup, there were protests and a cowardly president fled to Russia.
I can only assume you spend your day watching RT and Sputnik News. This article shows a truly awful lack of critical thinking.
