Grand Mufti Al-Husseini was instrumental in restricting Jewish migration to Palestine and was in Germany with Himmler and Hitler to get assurances once Germany won to come to Palestine and finish off the Jews there.

Palestinians certainly did not welcome Jews after the Holocaust, and they didn't welcome them in the 150 years before the Holocaust either.

Even before Zionism, Jews were attacked and had Palestinians ride over their crops, on lands Jews legally bought. When the unarmed Jews complained to local Sheikhs they were told the land was waqf and it didn't matter if Jews bought it legally, it was Muslim land forever.
