Arab Palestinians have been murdering Jews centuries before Israel was re-created. Centuries before political Zionism. It just increased a lot more when more Jews arrived, in the 1800s in Hebron and Safed 50 years before Zionism. Heck my own escaped a pogrom in Hebron in 1517. In Safed at in 1834 the pogrom went for 33 days.
